Moonday, Erastus 1st, 4719 AR
Administrating the Citadel and Operations
While several of the Regulators gathered needed supplies for heading back into the Mwangi Jungle, Kane worked with the Head Servant Kevdeyr to oversee the ongoing Rampart repairs, and set forth meticulous plans to watch over the Citadel in their absence if needed for the next month. Unloading their extra spoils into the Citidel’s vault, and getting an early rest before leaving the next morning.
Toilday, Erastus 2nd, 4719 AR
Familiar Faces
Making their way through the Huntergates and into the Temple of Ketephys, the Regulators are welcomed back by Jahsi and Akosa bringing good news. Thanks to the partys efforts, their scouts have been reporting back that they’ve been able to push much further into the surrounding jungle, and have communicated with with both the River and Moon Clans in helping push back against the Cinderclaws, with plans to establish control of the surrounding areas around their suspected base of operations in the coming days. That said, they can only get so close, and are eager to see the destruction of the remaining Dragon Pillars. Additionally, they agreed to meet the party at a specific location just south of the Cinderclaw Mine in five days time, while noting they will deal with the remaining Cinderclaws in the outlying areas so the PCs can focus their efforts inwards.
Traversing the Jungle
The Regulators make their way with ease through the Jungle, camping several miles out before moving down the ravine to deal with the Yellow Dragon Pillar.
Wealday, Erastus 3rd, 4719 AR
Yellow Dragon Pillar
Knowing how to maneuver and deal with these Dragon Pillars, the party quietly moves into the area of the Yellow Dragon Pillar, before setting in motion their plan of attack. Bru’shlee quickly charges the pillar, dodging lightning attacks, and being electrocuted while ripping the pillar from its roots, smashing it into the ground with a great suplex maneuver. Jegan, Kane, and G’roynn moved into position three flying bat-like humanoids called Sambosans descended from the trees, attacking the party. It didn’t take long for the party to make quick work of them, ending their miserable existence.
Blood & Struggle
The Regulators pushed deeper into the Jungle, looking for a place to cross to make their way to the Orange Dragon Pillar. Around Dusk along the way, the party came across smears of blood and the signs of struggle mar the nearby jungle foliage, leaving a trail of broken branches leading further into the trees.
Odd Character
The Regulators find a less obvious path in the Jungle as they followed the trail of blood all the way back into a small winding narrow cave where they discovered Itoro, and outwardly odd character that appeared to be preparing a meal for a fresh kill of what appeared to be a colorful bird stuffed into a large burlap sack nearby. The Regulators did not trust him, and even though Itoro pleaded with the party to partake in this meal with him, they discovered it wasn’t a large bird but in fact a celestial being that he managed to capture, currently unconscious and bound.
Acting quickly, the party attempted to reason with Itoro, but that only escalated into a battle once he knew they wouldn’t join him. While strong, Itoro was little match for the party, with Jegan freeing the celestial from its bonds, and Adélina Cornaro laying hands upon it, it burst up into the air with boons for the party as they quickly took down Itoro. The party was granted a boon that will last them throughout the following day as they continue with their tasks in taking down the remaining Dragon Pillars, though they remained in Itoro’s dwelling eating what was edible and drinking his ale and getting better protected sleep than out in the jungle, not to mention it was noticeably cooler too.
