Ruin Temple of Dahak (cont.)
After the battle, the Regulators found a small treasure pile with three-hundred-twenty gold pieces, twenty-four-hundred silver pieces, and eighty-five-hundred copper pieces, along with a gorgeous black Damascus bladed rapier with jewel encrusted hilt, spiked shield, and a wand of lightning bolts. More importantly, all Dragon Pillars have been destroyed! The party decided to set up camp on the opposite end of the temple, though creepy and the unpleasant smell from the dead beast, it was still safer than sleeping in the wilds.

Reporting Back
The next morning the Regulators got an early start, making their way through the jungle northbound, finally crossing the growing torrential Vanji river, growing more difficult as the rains increased. Worn out by their travels they were met by Ekujae Scouts that led them to their hidden camp in the Jungle, where Jahsi told them to meet back once they had completed their mission with the Dragon Pillars. The party was brought down a ravine and into an encampment where they were preparing for war, the tide turning in the jungle.
Poignant Welcome
The Regulators walked through the war camp observing the Ekujae Guardians, Protectors, and Clerics preparing for a final assault, as Akosa directed them up the stone steps to the tower up on the overlook. Jahsi & Nketiah, happy to greet their friends return, provided critical intel on the shifting tide, pushing back the Cinderclaw, retaking the broken lands and driving Belmazog and remaining minions away from the mine, and forcing them to retreat into the jungle. Within that, they provided more details on Belmazog, the blue dragon humanoid that wields ancient dark magic, and high priest of Dahak. Additionally noting that a large portion of his forces have been slaughtered, but that even with the Dragon Pillars being destroyed, they can still only get so close to his primary fortress.
Jahsi notes that they’ve asked much of you already, and though hoping to join in the final assault on the fortress, they would bring more harm than good fighting blind. Asking if the party will accept the task of taking down Belmazog once and for all so they can break the blinding curse and heal the desecrated lands that surround the fortress, and break it to ruin. Nketiah steps forward with a basket of gifts for the heroes. A bundle of twenty Starshatter Arrows, Masquerade Scarf, Scroll of Heroism, and Unmemorable Mantle. A token of appreciation for taking on this dangerous task alone from the Ekujae to the Regulators.

Southern Swamp
Before sunrise, the Regulators set out early, with a difficult journey ahead, fjording the Vanji river, and into the swampy south. Slightly exhausted from a long day’s journey, the party reached the fortress in the middle of the swamp, only to find the area littered with Crocodiles and huge Dragon Pillars scattered around the fortress. Several of those observed were similar to the smaller totems destroyed prior, though each were fixed upon huge stacked stones with an adult dragon skull atop the stonework, and each burning with magical fire of a specific color.
Shortly after debating how to make their way further south to the fortress gates, Bru-shlee utilized one of the gifts from Jahsi & Nketiah, Masquerade Scarf, granting him an illusory Disguise for an hour, which he used to appear as a Cinderclaw Charau-ka Butcher. Bru-shlee then tested this disguise by wading out into the swamp near the huge Dragon Pillar, which paid no attention to him in this form. The rest of the party moved into position to deal with the nearby Crocodiles, and though the Pillar paid attention to the party not disguised, it did not appear to emit magical attacks at them, but not determined as to why.
