Cal was raised in Magnimar among established Varisian families tied to both civic life and old stories of resistance to tyranny. He trained as a conventional martial fighter first, then found deeper purpose in the teachings of Iomedae.

Path to Adventure

Seeking a higher-impact front, he moved toward Isger after hearing of escalating danger around Breachill and the rise of organized threats.
