A New Home & Firey Situation
The Regulators returned to Citadel Altaerein with Warbal Bumblebrasher, after being in Breachill for a few days, to a mostly furnished stronghold, a gift from the entire town of Breachill for your service in dealing with the growing threats through their heroic deeds. Though there is an outstanding debt note delivered to the party that must be paid in full before the year’s end.
The party explored their furnished stronghold, finding Helba and her Bumblebrashers, as well Renali had already made themselves at home. After greeting and conversations, the party made their way down to Alseta’s Ring underneath the Citadel to find Voz Lirayne with Rorsk Axebane, who was actively working on repairing the Huntergate. Voz Lirayne explained how she hired him to do this work, to the excitement of Renali, who was looking to return home. Once finished, she with the help of Kane imbued their arcane magic through the Huntergate key into the gate, reactivating it!The party made their way through the Huntergate, were confronted by an apparition of the Deity Dahak in a demi-plane in between the Huntergate’s final destination. After much flame and singed skin, and uncertain of what they were dealing with, the party reactivated the Huntergate to escape back to their confines of Alseta’s Ring.

Back through Huntergate
Taking time to regroup and strategize, take a rest and regain their health, they ventured forth back in through the Huntergate. After dealing with the apparition they stepped through the continuing gate on the other side of the demi-plane, only to be taken into custody by the native elven guardians, finding themselves surrounded with arrows pointed at them in the temple ruins of the Deity Ketephys in a hot & humid dense jungle of the Mwangi Expanse!
Jahsi and the Guardians
After traveling for several hours through the dense Mwangi Jungle, the entire party stopped at what appeared to be an outpost within a massive base of a heavily rooted tree. While your gear and weapons are being carried by your captors, they cut the binds while welcoming the party to sit on some stumps around the campfire, while providing waterskins and fruit to replenish your strength and relief.
One of the elves, a man set apart from the others by his gold jewelry and bracers, steps forward holding his palms open giving a slight bow while introducing himself, “I am Jahsi, of the Leopard Clan,” speaking in accented Taldane. “My mother is of the River Clan.” After initial introductions, there was time for conversation before both sides came to an understanding, and their gear was returned. The party was invited to continue with them to their home of Akrivel, a few miles further to the north, which they agreed.
Akrivel
Woven tree branches form the foundations and buildings of this large treetop Ekujae town. Bridges made of sturdy vines spread out through the rainforest canopy, allowing rapid travel through the jungle for miles around. Dozens, if not hundreds, of trunks of massive trees, each over ten-to-twenty feet wide, support a wide weaving of branches that in turn supports the town above.
The party was welcomed by Jahsi’s daughter, Nketiah, an Ekujae half-elf awaiting your arrival at the base of one of the trees. Holding a brass staff topped with a sculpture of a leopard grasping a sword in its jaws and pinning a prone human in one hand, while her other arm was made not of flesh, but of twisted wooden branches and bone. “I am Nketiah, of the Leopard Clan,” she greets. “My mother was of the Stargazer Clan. You are guests of the Ekujae tonight. Welcome to our lands.”
